CERTIFIED LAUGHTER LEADER TRAINING COURSE

This course is a life changing experience for all who attend and anyone can attend. It teaches us to put more joy into our lives and the lives of all the people we come into contact with.

The course is not only for those who want to run laughter sessions/workshops professionally, it is also a very effective and fun course for self improvement, health and career enhancement.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The two day Certified Laughter Leader Training Course includes:

• Personal Introductions and bonding/teambuilding with group exercise

• History of therapeutic laughter

• Introduction and unique features of laughter yoga/therapy – laughing without comedy or jokes

• Two approaches to happiness

• Two way link between body and mind and the role of laughter

• The science of laughter:

  The physiology and psychology of laughter

  Hard wired stress and laughter systems (Laughter is nature's own Stress-buster)

  The benefits of laughter: physiological, mental, emotional and spiritual

  Laughter: improving communication skills and self confidence

  The importance of oxygen and: laughter as an oxygen-inducing exercise and cardiac workout

  Healing through laughter

• Laughter Guidelines and techniques

• Laughter meditation (free laughter) and guided relaxation

• Considerations in running laughter sessions

• The laughter session: Leading laughter sessions; the role of the leader and how to become a better leader; practicing this role (Practice makes perfect)

• Laughter - best practices

• Laughter Contraindications

• The forty foundation laughter exercises. All these will be practiced during the course

• Laughter boosting technique to prepare for stressful events such as public speaking, presentations, exams

• Laughing with specific groups, for example, senior citizens and children

• Corporate Considerations and laughter as a career choice

• Laughing alone

• How to run laughter seminars/workshops and marketing them

E-manuals will be sent to you after the course.

You will be registered as a laughter professional with Dr. Katria School of Laughter Yoga and included as such on Dr. Kataria’s, Laughter Yoga International website.
